VIP classical studio tickets: On Sunday, 27th August, Dubai Opera will resonate with the melodies of two remarkable pianists: Poland’s Julia Kociuban and Canada’s Sanaz Sotoudeh. This splendid concert is a part of the VIP Classical series, a collaborative effort by SAMIT Event Group, the Embassy of Canada in the UAE, and the Consulate General of Canada in Dubai. The evening will commence with Kociuban’s soulful renditions of Frédéric Chopin’s works, including the Ballade No. 3 Op. 47, Mazurkas, Op. 24, No. 2 and No. 4, the 3 Polonaises Op.71, culminating with the Andante Spianato & Grande Polonaise Brillante.
Post-intermission, the audience will be treated to Sotoudeh’s masterful performances. She will begin with Ferruccio Busoni’s adaptation of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Chaconne in D minor from his Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin. This will be followed by the iconic ‘Moonlight Sonata’ by Ludwig van Beethoven. Sotoudeh will then transition to Franz Liszt’s Liebesträume No. 3, his arrangement of Franz Schubert’s Serenade (Ständchen), and conclude her set with Liszt’s Étude en Douze Exercices No. 3.
