The Chennai International Film Festival or CIFF brings over 50 countries together through its grand celebration of global cinema. One gets to see more than 200 critically acclaimed films, across all genres and cultures, for the annual festival pass. CIFF is celebrated for showcasing the best in contemporary and classic cinema.
Apart from the main festival, CIFF organizes monthly screenings of world cinema and mini film festivals in collaboration with embassies and consulates throughout the year. Do I have to pre-register for specific events?
Answer: No, the Annual Festival Pass is not an E-ticket for any one event. You will have to reserve a seat separately for each event.
Is there an age restriction at the festival?
Answer: Yes, the festival has an age barrier set for adults 18 and above.
